A premier national wine publication, is looking for an intelligent, enthusiastic and dedicated marketing intern with a sincere interest in wine and food and a desire to broaden his or her knowledge of these subjects in a marketing context for either the Winter and/or Spring Term.
The intern’s primary role will be assisting the Marketing Manager in the production of a high-profile industry event scheduled at the end of April 2010 in New York City.
Candidates for the position must exhibit the following:
-must be over the age of 21 years
-proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
-highly developed organizational skills
-upbeat personality and a positive attitude
-willingness to perform cold calling and comfort in so doing
-ability to manage all administrative tasks including data entry and filing
-ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations
-able to work 3 days a week
